Management

SciTech Development is managed by a group of people that have the breadth of experience required to develop a market changing technology. The team has experience starting new companies, rescuing underperforming companies, managing high technology manufacturing and distribution operations, initiating breakthrough clinical therapies, leading developmental therapeutic programs at both the NCI and FDA, inventing new medical technology devices, and leading international technology development teams.

Earle T. Holsapple III, President: Mr. Holsapple has shown his leadership capabilities by launching several new ventures, serving as the C.E.O. or C.O.O. of six profitable midsize companies, acting as a turnaround consultant, and ultimately managing the development of several new medical technologies. While taking investment and management positions, over the past two decades he has been instrumental in raising over $125,000,000 of debt and equity for four leveraged buyouts. He served as Computed Ultrasound Risk Evaluation (CURE) Project Manager and was the acting manager of  the center for Cancer Economics, Technology Assessment, Innovation & Development (CETAID). Holsapple recently founded Sino Ambassadors, LLC (www.SinoAmbassadors.com) with the intent of exploring the possibility of bringing Chinese money into the Midwest to help fill the “Valley of Death” funding void.

In 1996, he was appointed to the faculty of the Wayne State University School of Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine and Pharmacology. There he supervised clinical pharmacology for the Phase I clinical trials of the Karmanos Cancer Institute. Dr. Parchment presently is the Director of the National Cancer Institute’s (NCI) Laboratory of Human Toxicology and Pharmacology and supports SciTech on a part time basis.

Charles K. Grieshaber, Ph.D., Senior Scientist & Director of Drug Development: Dr. Grieshaber has extensive experience in oncology research as well as being a documented expert in the preclinical and clinical development of new anticancer agents. Specifically, he emphasized the balance between safety and efficacy of new drugs.  At the National Cancer Institute he was instrumental in the development of many new drugs over the past two decades with more than 20 going to INDA. Dr. Grieshaber has extensive preclinical experience, including 21 years at the NCI (Chief of the Pharmacology and Toxicology Branch of the Developmental Therapeutics Program between 1980-1990), 8 years at the FDA (Director of the Office of Testing and Research, in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research), 4 years in academia (Professor of Medicine at Wayne State University and the Henry Ford Hospital), and 4 years in the biotech industry.  He has developed molecules from preclinical/IND filings to Phase I & II clinical studies.

Mack Sutton, Controller: Mr. Sutton serves as a financial advisor to small business startups. He has extensive background in financial management. He is a registered CPA.
