Anti-cancer drugs represent a $20+ billion global market. Cytotoxic anti-cancer agents, such as fenretinide, represent about one third of this market. SciTech's fenretinide product formulation, in and of itself, addresses a domestic market in excess of $2.5 billion (for the treatment of lymphoma, and renal, small cell lung, ovarian and possibly pancreatic cancer in adults and, neuroblastoma in pediatric patients). These product opportunities will be responding to the unmet medical needs for safe and effective anticancer agents that are not cross-resistant with existing chemotherapeutic regimens. 

Combination drug products, which would employ SciTech's fenretinide product formulation with other anti-cancer agent(s) for the treatment of cancers and other acute medical conditions, represent a $4+ billion domestic market.  SciTech intends to develop its fenretinide drug formulation (delivery platform + drug) through completion of Phase II Clinical Trials and then license, spin-off or partner for later stage regulatory approval and market launch. 

These product plans are in addition to the topical fenretinide product being co-developed with a dermatologic product company for the treatment of cancerous and precancerous skin lesions.  This represents an additional >$1.0 billion global opportunity, after the topical product gains acceptance as a replacement for other, more irritating, topical drugs as well as for various cryo therapy ablation techniques. These product opportunities will be responding to the unmet needs for reliable and effective anticancer agents.
